Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History, English and Music, and a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) as a psychotherapist and supervisor. I work to their standards and strict ethical code.

Experience

I have experience as a counsellor with the children’s charity Childline, as a psychotherapist in the NHS at Kings College Hospital, and as a counsellor in a community counselling service in Highbury Counselling Service. I work in private practice with teenagers and adults, offering performance coaching,  personal and couples therapy. I also supervise the research work of doctoral students and clinical work of qualified psychotherapists. I work with people of all ages, from many different backgrounds and life experiences, who have lived, worked and studied in many different countries.

As well as working in private practice as a performance coach, psychotherapist and counsellor, I have worked in business and the public sector in senior publishing, marketing and communication roles, developing my performance coaching skills which I have readily adapted to sports performance coaching.
